I am so much happier with my own things when I don't look at the Pottery Barn catalog. :)Totallyscrappyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13617099975079979822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32024354.post-46079026353425392372008-07-21T10:35:00.000-07:002008-07-21T10:35:00.000-07:00You have a great list with great ideas. We also rarely eat out and shop mainly at yard sales and the thrift store. We have managed to live debt free, with six kids and one income. When we stopped viewing our money as "our" money and realized it was all God's money, our perspective changed. <BR/>ToniAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32024354.post-33301608541327971932008-07-15T11:31:00.000-07:002008-07-15T11:31:00.000-07:00Hey Tami, that's great what the Lord is doing. Often when I go back and try to find whatever it is I thought I needed, it was gone and it didn't matter anyways. But one thing I do do (oh geez, I just wrote doo doo) is gifts for birthdays, mothers and fathers days and Christmas I go ahead and buy all year long, if I come across a great deal. And a lot of years I make gifts, because that saves money too. Seminary taught me a whole lot about shopping and saving money.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
